Default bmw 128i e88

I just swapped some light bulbs to leds for my wife and as you can imagine the car things I have a bulb out.
I did some research on here but I am still confused. Whats the cheapest and easiest way to code the ecu to turn that check off? There is lots of tools it seems.

Thanks, Is there a database that explains what functions do what? So I dont change the wrong thing. I want to deactivate all bulb checks on the car. I also want to be able to learn a new battery when I need one, current one is from 2010, can I do all that.

$16, am I missing something? I can make all the changes I need by purchasing a $16 tool and software?

Also, I dont have any pcs with windiws xp. Where do I obtain the software to make the coding changes, this seems like its just the hardware, and I am not sure if it will work on a e88.
