Default Coding choices

Hi all, I'd like to do some easy coding changes. The car is a E46 330ci auto drop top. I see that Carly is an option, but it seems an expensive option by the time you purchase the pro software, cables and obdi 2 Bluetooth module. My available tools are a laptop running Windows 10, an Android tablet and a Android smartphone.
What are also other options to code, what are they? and how easy to are they to use? I'm only looking to change some options one time and don't intend to use these items again. I'm a senior gentlemen at the age of 68.
Please advise the easiest options I may have...

Thanks to all in advance.

Hello , most common option is program called NCSExpert for PC and it comes with BMW Standard tools.
Next option is "BMW Scanner 1.4" and it is less complicated.
I would recommend you BMW scanner it is easy to use and not expensive
