Default Connecting Yellow Head to BMWTools

I'm hoping someone can help me connect my yellow head to BMWTools. I use a Ethernet cable to connect my computer to the edic head. i can install everything and seem to be able to connect to the head. I have the GT1 running in a virtual machine and it connects to my yellow head and works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just converted my e38 to a manual and would like to change the vehicle order.
