Default Disable Seat occupancy sensor on 2008 R56

I have a 2008 R56 Mini Cooper S and am starting to get warnings on the passanger airbag. I believe it to be the seat occupancy mat sensor on the passenger seat. Here's [Only for registered users... ] of me testing it. I don't plan on ever putting a child seat on the passenger.

I have been reading up and found that the OC3 sensor can be deactivated. Looking though NCSExpert I found these two in the ABG module: GK_OC3_POL and OC3; currently set to aktiv.

I would like to know if by setting these two or just the OC3, would be enough to get rid of the warnings in the car and have the all the airbags work normally. Would I need to unplug the sensor as well?
[Only for registered users... ] a couple of out of focus pics of the underside of the seat.
