Default DIsplaying Actual Tire Pressure

Hi,

I have a 2014 328i with Tech Package. Have read that it is possible through coding to display the actual tire pressure (PSIs) on the Tire Pressure Monitor screen of the iDrive; when I went to my BMW dealer, however, they said that it was not possible.

What gives? Do I need to buy special sensors? Can anyone help me in Norfolk/Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area?
Thanks

Sure, just coded this on my 2104 328i:
HU_NBT/3001 ExBox/RDC_SAFETY change to aktiv

It works fine, adding pressure and temperature for each tire --but you have to have sensors in each tire; here in US, I think it is standard. You can usually tell pretty easily by looking at the tire valve stem; if it's metal, you probably have the sensors

Also, please note that my car has NBT; believe all you have to do if change to HU_CIC for other models

Hope that helps
