Default DPF removal

Ive been a silent member for a while and found some VERY good info on this board!
I am trying to work out a way of removing the diesel particle filter from my friends X3 using iata/p or if i have to winKFP. I have iata/p and am quite confident using it so would prefer to use that than learn how to use winkfp.
I have seen in this thread:[Only for registered users... ]
that there is an option code for the DPF filter. Does anyone know if its possible to just change the vehicle order so it doesnt have this option code anymore and if that would even work?
Im pretty sure my ISTA/p doesnt have the option to remove in retrofits so this theory of changing the vehicle order sounded (to me at least) plausible.

Thanks in advanace for any input, Jamie

I can deactivate your DPF, but you need to read ECU DDE
