Default F30 - Replacing CiC with Head Unit high

Hi there,

The Navigation system Professional of my BMW 3 series F30 from October 2012 has been completely stolen (Display, CiC, iDrive controller etc.) and all cables with the small round connectors have been cut off.

Now as I need to replace all components anyway, I wonder if I can replace the meanwhile discontinued CiC with the new actual Head Unit high. My dealer says that all what has been stolen can only be replaced with the same components as before but I would like to receive further information if this is really true or if they just don't know better.

Any ideas?

I have an f30 NBT emulator for a cic car that the chinese sent me in error, i was supposed to get an e90 cic emulator. I believe this is what you may require unless you want to get new fsc codes for nav, voice etc to make nbt work in your car.
