Default Getting Paddle Shifters to work again/NCS-Expert

Hello All, new to this forum and starting off with a question/problem if you will...

2010 135i with 6sp AT

Successfully flashed with Alipa B3 - paddle shifters stopped working after the Alpina flash - I followed the NCS-Expert guide and got the paddle shifters to work once again.

Since then, I flashed back to stock (2011 TCU flash, ZF 7603527), this process completed fine, once again my paddle shifters stopped working. I followed the same steps to restore the paddle shifter functionality, got all the way to the "Coding ended" message, however my paddle shifters are still not working.

I repeated the process several times, not receiving any error messages, but unfortunately the paddles are still not working.

I would appreciate any suggestions or help getting this resolved.

Here are steps attempted:

0-Start ignition with cluster lights on
1-Load NCSexpert
2-File Use EXPERTMODE click ok
3-(F1) Vin/ZCS/FA
4-(F3) SG ausw
5-Choose E89 chassis click ok
6-Choose CAS click ok
7-(F6) Back
8-(F4) Read ECU and pick EGS module click ok
9-wait till nettodat file pops up and then close it out
10-Press F3 (execute JOB)
11-After it says coding ended your done!
12-Close out NCSexpert

NCS-Expert Version 4.0.1

Default Solved

It's close to 1AM and I finally got my paddles back...

After countless INPA/NCS-Expert and EDIABAS updates and reinstalls, the solution to my issue was to flash TCU with a blank .MAN file. After doing so, I heard an audible clunk from the tranny and all was well from there.

whew...
