Default KOMBI issue after coding

Hi,

This is my first post, so hello to the community. I have a f46 model 2019, for which I tried coding KOMBI using the app bimmercode. Everything went well, except that after the ECU reset (and even after restoring the ECU backup), the fuel consumption does not switch from l/100km to l/h when idle.

Knowing that the car is still, of course the fuel consumption climbs to infinite l/100km (which seem to cap around 30 l/100km). This can be seen on the gauge, and on the iDrive reporting.

Could anyone help me? I have already tried restoring ECU from the app (no change), then sent an email to bimmercode but no response yet. I guess there is somewhere in the ECU an option that says that below a given speed, it must switch to l/h, but I can't find it...

Thanks very much.

Update : VO coding the ECU keeps the same behaviour... Or is it normal to have an instant fuel consumption at max gauge when idling ?

In my peugeot 207 when idle it switches from L/100 Km to L/h, isn't it the same in BMW cars?

On the older bmws at idle whilst coasting you did get infinite mpg.

Thanks, so actually it would be the same behaviour : mpg at 0 would be equivalent to infinite l/100 km... In the first case the 0 of having the vehicle stopped is at the numerator, for the other at the denominator. That's seems to me like an overlook from BMW as less luxury brands have implemented workarounds to avoid those infinite numbers that skew the averages... Well that reassures me in a sense. Thanks!
