Unhappy Problem getting IP Address -> E-Net Cable

Hi all,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) Cable bought from Amazon
2) Car is a 2012 328i F31
3) I have coded with the same car, same cable, same laptop, same OS
4) After car been to dealership, all my coding has been reset

Steps performed:
1) Ignition On
2) Connect OBD/ethernet cable with Thunderbolt adapter to Macbook running Windows 7

1) LAN adapter shows, identifying connection
2) After while it provides an Auto-assigned IP 169.x.x.x
3) Obviously this is not the proper IP, unable to connect with E-Sys

Troubleshooting performed:
1) Made sure that no static IP assigned on adapter, DHCP On
2) Let car go to "sleep", tried again
3) Tried with car OFF
4) Tried with car running
5) Tried under OS X

I cannot get a proper IP Address assigned anymore! What's going on here?
This used to work with the exact same setup!
Is there anyway to check the pins with a multimeter of the OBD port?
