Default Recoding e39 DSC module to ASC

Having issues finding a good 001 asc module for my e39. I have however got hold of a good 002 dsc module. Simply recoding vin doesnt work, as the car is obviously missing steering angle sensors etc, so throws codes.

So is there a way to reprogram this dsc module to asc spec?
