Default Replace 06 M5 DME with used donor DME?

I am trying to replace my original DME (MS S65) in an 06 M5 with a used DME from another vehicle. I am trying to find a way to program the donor DME to work with the existing CAS 3 (w/the original key)

I have WinKFP, NCS Dummy (but find it hard to use), BMW coding tool , NCS Expert, INPA, SSS Progman, Rheingold.

Is it possible do do this with the tools I have? At this point I just need to get the car to run.

Im trying to learn about this 'BMW-Explorer'...
Does it need additional hardware that I don't have? I can run diagnostic and coding tools with the OBD cable I have, but I was informed that I would need additional hardware to use BMW-Explorer or similar software? I don't know if they meant me removing a chip on the board and re-flashing, removing the module and soldering wires to the board (like the CAS 3 programers on Ebay) or just leaving everything in the car and using the OBD port.

I'm not following...?
Can I do this with Hex editor tools threw the OBD port or do I need to pull an IC from the board (or solder wires to the board) to use these Hex editors? The reason why I'm asking is because I see tools such BDM100 kits on Ebay-some show OBD connecters giving me the assumption it can be done via OBD.

I can pull MCxxx chip off the CAS 3 (if I had to place it in a chip reader), but removing the Motorola MCPxxx chip on the DME is not possible.

I contacted some Ebay sellers but they don't seem to have a layout of where on the DME board I would connect the wires for the MS S65 DME.

If anyone has any links on this topic could you please shoot me them.

--Thanks
