Default Updating Daten files. Extra folders?

Everywhere that I've read about updating the daten files says to run the laden file in the daten folder and then to copy paste the cfgdata and ecu folders. What about the other folders like the data folder? This is a 6.5 GB folder so it has to be useful. These are from daten v46.3.
