Default ZGM coding

Anybody knows how to code a used zgm module?

Apparently my car was fitted with a zgm module from another e60 by its previous owner..

I brought my e60 to dealer to get the tranny software updated after repairing the mechTronic unit. Currently in DS mode, the car is stuck at 4th gear, and need to shift it up my manual up or moving it back to D mode.

However, when dealer plugged their machine to my car, and they cant communicate with the car, saying that the vin do not match...

Some say that i need to code the car vin into the zgm, but theres no such documentation that i can find that teached such a process...

Please needed.
