Default 2001 BMW 325ci losing water underneath car

my car is losing water underneath car,i believe it is a hose leak, but can't determine where,i don't know wheter its the water pump, thermostat ,water bottle or even a blown head gasket, shops want to replace everything under car needed or not, neighborhood mechanics want to play, replace everything until we find the problem,i cannot afford to play those games,i would like to know what the problem is,then concentrating on that I getting it paid for within reason
