Question 2004 e46 front inside tire wear/ camber?

2004 E46
Could the high camber design (chosen for good cornering) cause the tires to wear more on the insides, even if the steering components were in fine shape?
I'm wondering if the inside tire wear is a sure sign of control arm slop?
