Default BMW DME 5.2 Error 121 Help

Hi guys,

I have a 98 E36 318ti with the 5.2 DME - I keep getting a recurring CEL with error code 121 - "Hoehenadaption Fehler" I can't find information for this error anywhere (yes its my only error).

Backstory on the car - I purchased it with CELs for the O2 (rear) and knock sensors. I replaced the knock sensors and the cat with one from a 95 318 (welded on a rear bung). I also deleted the SAP and put in a circuit to emulate 0.2V when the SAP is supposed to be on to keep everything happy. I added an Oil catch can between the valve cover and the PCV valve. After finishing the word, I get this one and only failure.

I have cleaned and even replaced the ICV as the idle was quite high after the work was completed and the car ran great while the CEL was off - in fact, the car runs great with the only exception being the idle being rough when after the CEL comes on. I check for vacuum leaks and found none...

Any ideas?
