Default Comfort Access Dignosis

Hi All,

Does anyone have information on how to go about diagnosing fault on the comfort access system. I have a problem where the only door that will open with comfort access is the rear lefthand passenger door. None of the other doors will open. The keyless start works fine. Any detail on how one would go about diagnosing would be greatly appreciated.

I have functional ISTA setup but this does not show any errors with the cars ECU's.

Regards GB

Comfort access problem generally occurs in a BMW. First check the control unit for water damage, you can find control unit right above the battery. It is usually the drivers door handle that brings down the system for the other doors. The small wires sometimes break at the hinge and short out to each other. So check each wire carefully. If you are not able to fix it, then go to the experienced [Only for registered users... ]. They will solve your problem.
