Default Electrical system gone haywire, my car is haunted.

OK, This is strange. My dashboard on my 2005 bmw 645 Ci was kindia blinking all day with all electrical systems going out intermittently THe car drove fine but dashboard very strange THen windshield wipers came on and have stayed on for hours now despite carr now being off and key removed. Car has all electrical systems dead, even power ateering. The dealer recently replaced the positive battery cable I cannot even get into thr trunk to disconnect the battery as all systems are down. Any idea what this might be? Dealer imporoperly installed the battery cable, or it went bad?
