Default Engine Seized

I purchased a used BMW from Markham Infinity in Markham Ontario Canada
April 2018.

2011 535i X drive with 56,000 km
WIN # WBAFU7C58BC876263

I drove the car for 3 Months without any problems whatsoever and I loved
the car, no issues at all and no warning light.

On July 20th 2018 I drove the car approx 30 km and was stopped at a traffic
light, accelerated up a small hill and the engine died completely and I
had to coast to the side of the road.
Now the engine light was on and the car would not restart, had the car
towed the the nearest BMW dealer, (BMW in St. Catharines Ontario Canada).
I had to leave on vacation Mon July 23th, and I got the following message
from the dealer as I was at the airport.
Kim@performancebmw: Hello Ole. Well it's nothing electrical. However it
does require an engine. No metal in the oil filter; oil level was ok; it
is a tight rotation the engine has not siezed but it has stopped. It is
not a spun bearing, Options are to authorize a tear down which is labour
intensive and expensive, or replace the engine outright, again labour
intensive and expensive. (approx $23002.68).
I am sorry to relay this information to you Ole.
How can this be ? the car has now only 63,000 km on the engine and I would
really like to know if BMW North America can help me out in any way ?
