Default Errors with INPA on e46

Hi All. I have a e46 330 and hoping someone might be able to help me. I have purchased [Only for registered users... ] cable and followed [Only for registered users... ] and [Only for registered users... ]. Both of which I get the following errors when trying to run against the m54 engine in INPA:

Following those errors I get constant script errors.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing it?

There are basically two different hardware configurations for the cable. One is compatible with older cars and the other with newer cars. The only difference is that in one configuration pins 7 and 8 on the OBD connector are shorted together. In the other configuration, they are not. Some cables come with an adapter which switches the configuration. If you don't have one you can retrofit a small toggle switch to turn the short on/off. If you're using the cable on one car only, you can solder/desolder the pins from one another.
