Default Ista D doesn't find fault codes while Carly app does?!

Hi all,

I am new in diagnostics and coding. I installed Ista D and the cable works well.... ISTA D finds my car and checks the modules... but it can't find faults, while the Carly app does.

A expert also checked my car a month ago with his notebook using Ista D and also found the codes.

I installed the latest SP daten files for E89 only (due lack of space). Why does Carly find fault codes and my ISTA D not? Check the video and screenshot.

Do I missed something?
