Default ISTA+ Terminal Change issue

Hey all, Iíve been scanning forums and online looking for the wizard whoís resolved the terminal change and terminal display issues people are reporting with ISTA+.

Iíve done some tests myself, Iíve got a blue OBD2/USB (K+Dcan) and tested terminals;

- INPA - terminal 15 (battery) is black when connected - terminal 30 (ignition) turns black when I switch the ignition on.

- ISTA+ - terminals 15 and 30 not displayed. When deleting errors ISTA asks for a terminal change but will not recognize the change forcing the operator to cancel the process and start all over with a vehicle test.

From this I am suspicious that this is the cable when INPA recognizes the terminals and the change - the Mini I tried this on has 12v to OBD all the time so terminal 15 is always powered.

The members of Car Technology are talking about it (4.03.21) and the only fix is to use the correct icon and k+dcan or enet cable.

Does anyone have the ISTA voltage control tool software they could share?

Hey all, Iíve dug and success - well almost.

Iíve got V2 and V3 Voltage Control Tool from NODE.

It works for INPA with a file swap but my dcan cable reads terminal 15 & 30 so Iíll leave it be.

Ista+ - the files I have for NoDE support ista to 4.05 and Iím running 4.08.

Iíll keep playing. Message me if you need NODE.

Ok - movement, V3 of NODE has supporting files for ista right up to 2/2018. Iím running version 4.08.13. Iím still yet to see the voltage tool work on Ista d but Iíve got it working on INPA. The concept is handy - now just to get it to work...
