Default Water affecting power windows and climate control

My 2008 E91 shows an intermittent issue that is driving me crazy : when the car sees water - either a heavy rain or a car wash - a few things start malfunctioning, sometimes all together, sometimes just one of them. The driver's door control switch (power windows & mirrors) goes dead, the air conditioner blower stops working, and the driver's door sensor goes weird (we close the door and lights remain on, then if opening and closing for a second time the lights go off). Anybody with similar problem or any clue of what may be the root cause ?
