Angry Z3 no start

I'm working on a 99 Z3 2.8L 5spd with no start condition. wire burned to sec air pump relay after pump motor froze. Repaired wiring, needs relay and possibly DME. If I buy DME from junkyard will I have to tow car to dealer to have it reprogrammed? Currently no tach signal or injector signals but ign coils fire. Have programmed domestic ECUs but no BMW. Any advise will be much appreciated.

just fitted a second hand ecu to a z3 this afternoon you need a ad90 ews kit to be able to alter the ews coding when you buy a compleet kit off a other car (ews and dme)
dealer will not be able to help you they say you can only use new units
