I downloaded this file separately, configured it, and added to C:/Windows. Any idea why I couldn't find this file in Ediabas/ Bin originally? Thanks in advance.
"you must select the USB to Serial Converter option" - it is not necessary. It works ok without this option.

"How do I enable the e39?" - check it in "old models" (shift + F9 in the main screen of INPA).

OBD.ini is also included in software from 1st post. It can be found here: c:\ediabas\bin\obd.ini

Thanks for the reply. I figured it all out. One thing that everyone should make sure is that their OBD.ini is in the windows folder and it contains these scripts

[OBD]
Port=Com1
Hardware=OBD
RETRY=ON
;MODE=NORMAL
;MODE=KBUS
UBAT=OFF

I believe that they helped. Haven't tried it without them, so I'm not 100% sure, but they couldn't hurt.

Just go and try it with the different options in ediabas.ini

I believe that ea-90x is 5.02 with updated daten files & a customised front end by FAL. (FAL is a user on a number of BMW fora (forums).
