Default CKM values are being saved

I am getting the same thing "The CKM values are being Saved". It's never goes any further than this. I let it go the other day for 7.5 hrs and still nothing. I've checked everything I could more than once and each time I still get the same situation when trying to update the DME on my 2002 325i. I can't get to the CKM setting to come up for the changing the locks and light etc; either. It says that it could not find the RAD. When I go into configure the DME the RAD module is greyed out.

Any suggestion?
