Default connecting INPA to E39

Hi,
I want to connect INPA to my E39 (built in 1999) in order to read and delete the error memory.

I started INPA Loader. Batterie is allways "on", ignition is never "on"; but the ignition of the car is ON!!!
Then I clicked on E39, on Engine and on M42 TÜ.
After that INPA was working. The following message came up: "SG MS420DS0 is not ready or not connected."

Can anybody check my files: ediabas.ini (located in c:\ediabas\bin) and obd.ini (located in c:\windows)? I can send them per email.

Would be a great help.

One more information:
After plugging in the cable in the USB-Port:
USB-Controller: USB Serial Converter came up (driver: FTDI; date: 18.03.2011; version: 2.8.14.0)
COM-Port: USB Serial Port (COM1) came up (driver: FTDI; date: 18.03.2011; version: 2.8.14.0)

Please drop me a note [Only for registered users... ] so I can send you the two files.

Thanks in advance
Marcus
