Default E90 frm ahl

Hey Guys, because of a broken trunk wire my FRM 1 (E90 '06) disabled my reverse lights. I fixed the wire but the light's won't come on again.

Is it possible to reset a FRM 1 with toolset?

I have a FRM II AHL from a E70 X5 laying around, is it possible to make it work with a E90?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the X5 but if you have part numbers I can have a look at it.

You can use ncsexpert to code to factory settings.

Thanks for the quick reply Funk. I'll post the part nr when I get home.

Do you know if the FRM (II) AHL is the same hardware wise (internal) among the EXX models that make use of it (they look the same)? In that case you must be able to flash E90 software into it right?

FRM from an X5 is different and won't work in a E90.

If you mean if it's possible to install a FRM2 into a 2006 E90 then yes it's possible.
Do keep in mind that ista-p will report an error and updating isn't possible. If you install a FRM1 again and code according to your vo then you can upgrade your software with ista-p.

Yes it's possible. Load FRM_87

Do keep your vo in mind if you want to upgrade to FRM2.

Hi. I have problem with my e90 325i N52 engine. From time to time happens that ventilator fan starts working very loud at engine temperature of 82deg,does not stop at all and within a few seconds engine sensor showing that engine is overheating. After restarting the engine all comes in normal and engine temperature is again normal 80-90deg??
Have changed termostat but no any change.

Does anyone heve had a similar problem????
Thnks in advance.
