Default New key "Disabled", can I re-enable?

Hi All,

I just got a new key for my 2004 E46 M3 (from an online BMW dealer) and it does not start the car, so I looked in INPA (v5.0.2) to see what the status of my keys were.

The first 2 keys were disabled (which I don't have anyway), the 3rd key was enabled (previous owner got it shortly before selling the car to me and still starts the car) and the 4th key (that I just bought) was showing "invalid" because of: Changing code, password and Disabled.

All of the other keys are disabled as well.

My thinking is that the previous owner got paranoid after the car was broken into and had the dealer disable the remaining keys.

The parts department where I got the key is willing to exchange it for me, but I want to make sure that the new key will not be a problem.

How do I re-enable the remaining keys? I have DIS v57 and SSS v32 as well but neither looks like it will do the job. I can't seem to get DISv44 running on my machine.

Any thoughts?
