Default Updating old modules to latest software with winkfp

Hi,

I know how to use winkfp. But my friend has a 11/2007 e90 318d ED which has never been updated.

I read UIF from INPA and get following modules (VIN adjusted):

Code:

-------------------------------------------

Date:      03.03.2014 15:17:31

JobStatus: OKAY
Quantity:  17

=================================================================
When I go to winkfp and enter Zusb number i get assembly line error as the numbers are too old.

Does any one know latest? I have tried looking at realoem.com but no luck.

Also, my friend wants to know if the DDE can be flashed with same generation 320d flash 177hp tune. I know there are some injector differences but i think it ok. Maybe just 2009 163hp N47 320D ED which has same gear ratios as 2007 318D?

Thanks

I would recommend you to update the firmware with ISTA,less chance to make a mistake and kill some modules.

I have an icom a2 but even with that I can't upgrade software of my rad2.. The module is marked as "replace" in ista-p and I don't know what to do now .. My radio comes from another car and is registered with the vin of that car.. I would like to reprogram the module with my vin using winkfp but the program do not accept the zb# found with ediabas.. I'm stuck, don't know what to do..
