Default Icom losing most connection

Hi guys,
I am trying to program a 2008 e71 but for some reason my icom keeps dropping the most interface connection. I am using a clone icom, and I have used it before for programming with no problems.
when I connect the most interface everything goes ok with flashing green lights for between 30 seconds and 2 minutes then for no reason the connection gets dropped and I have the red light next to system and no light next to most.
If I unplug the most interface and reconnect then the above happens again (green lights for a short while, then lost connection).
Because of this I can't do any programming.
Anyone have any ideas to what is going on, a fault with the interface (if so is there a repair), or could it be a software issue.

All help is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys

I had a similar problem with the system bought from Yotech. After incredible many mails etc la bla, they finally confessed that the MOST connector was broken.
They offered two solutions of which I chose the second one: repair myself. Other would have been send the module back.
There is one five pin ic which caused the connection fail. Exchangening it was a bit tricky becasue it is very small in diameter.

Did you take any pics of the failed part on the pcb?
How did you test/find the failure? Was the part easy to source or did the Yotech send it? was their help any good or would you say find another supplier?
Where to buy decent icom A2 or set?
