Default Issue with ICOM Emulator + ISID 3.1

Hello,

I've got the ICOM Emulator 3.0.3 and ISID 3.1 running in VMWare Workstation 9. Everything works fine, I can see the ICOM connection in the Connection manager (color: green, status: free).

However when I try and set-up connection in ISTA it says something similar to:

52/2 Unable to reserve device.

ISTA/P gives a similar error as well.

I'm using a DCAN cable USB to OBD2 with an E60 535d. Am I missing something obvious or do I just need and ENET to OBD2 cable?

Thanks,
Duncan.

Default

Yes, I've changed that in device manager albeit it said COM9 was already in use. However same result in ISTA or ISTA/P (Unable to reserve device / vehicle interface).

Thanks,
