Default TEL/ULF - Programming Status 12

Dear All,

To cut the long story short - I am having issue to update my TEL/ULF using ISTA/P. It stuck at Preparing Update for hours - I decided to kill the session - now the module stuck in Programming Status 12 and no longer working.

Any advice how can I fix it?

Regards

You need to use ICOM to program these modules with the MOST adapter plugged in.

When it comes to the ULF SBX module you need to load full datens for your chassis in winkfp.

after thats done you need to press comfort mode > update zusb > ULF2HI > enter vin (your full win 17 digits) > done > program update.

It should do the update now. if it does not work your unit is broken.

The same goes for the TCU module, but there are differenet versions. Read in INPA which family or ZB number your module has today, then choose the corresponding version in WinKFP.

It's not true. You do not need a MOST connection to reprogram those. It can be done wih a good K+DCAN cable as long as you have a compatible flash programming charger or the car running.

True, I did it using Icom but with the OBD_ab625 way and WinKFP Expert mode but you must know each data to enter and depends of your I-Level. Ista-P stuck my CiC and my Mulf in status 12.
Only for the Mulf I can tell using the V41 - Expert mode :
PABD = 08020201Ulf2Hi.Ipo
P-SGDB = 10Flash.Prg
Data File = A9229740.0da
Program File = .0pa (don't remember)
NAAB File = .0ba (don't remember)
-> but first try using comfort mode, Zusb is 9209740 A-F (for ECE)
For Combox I know address varies, may be 36 or 61 (probably linked to the SiM option).
First read with Inpa, because status 12 means still reachable ECU to read all data.
