Default Node change in MOST circuit

I have read about the MOST bus and it seems like each unit in the most bus has its own unique node number, I am not sure if I am right but it seems like one must keep to the most circuit order like explained in the most circuit diagram, for ex Control Display, then CDC then AVT etc etc

Does anybody know how to change this node number in the MOST chip, chip number FOS8104A? According to the documentation this node number can either be programmed or allocated on the fly...?
