Talking Not looking for the answer, but am I going in the right direction

Hello All! I am not trying to get yall to answer all my questions. Reading as much as possible, and learning from others is the best and most rewarding factor when playing with my toys. I am working on an 2002 BMW 325I for my son. Mods include, cat back exhaust (Magnaflow), lowered 2", CAI, M3 style front cover, and complete, interior redo. Every seal, gasket, bushing, vacuum hoses,
a real honest solid car from top to bottom? We want to expand into looking at the DME/EGS reflash to EU specs for both, and coding a few options. We do all our own work, and research. I have the Standard Tools installed and operational. I have the sp-daten-E46 files downloaded. I just need to know if I am going in the right direction to this point. Have gone to the BMWFANS.INFO website and looked for the European DME/EGS equivalent to my MS43. The following are the corresponding numbers:

European DME tunes as per BMWFANS.INFO

*1214(7564450) to Mar '05

*1214(7564450) to Mar '03 w/auto S205a

*1214(7564770) to Mar '03 Japan National Version w/Japan ver. L807A or w/auto S205A

*1214(7564476) to Mar '03 w/eu2 S168A and w/auto S205A

And for the EGS

European EGS tunes as per BMWFANS.INFO

2460(7529012) GS8.60.4 to Aug '04

2460(7529024) GS8.60.4 to Aug '04 (For vehicles with Shorter final drive ratio) I have the 3.46 gears. After accounting for tire sizes and such it comes down to a 3.15.

So my questions are this:
1. Am I going in the right direction with extracting the number from BMWFANS.INFO?

2. Where can i get the files that correspond to these numbers? Or these incorporated into the sp daten 46 zip file. I can not find them in any folders for the programs I have installed. This is my only question about this since started to research this 2 months ago. I like the "I did this!" satisfaction. But everyone gets curious about something at least once during a project.

Thanks for any assistance or guidance!
(Ret) SFC J.E.T.
