Default pasoft cant axcess the dma

installed the software today can get into most sections but the dme says not found any ideas thanks

thanks for getting back i have now used 2 1.4 scanners pasoft and both
wont find the dme it finds other parts using the software just wondering if the pins on the conector might be faulty on car thanks

Double check to make sure there isn't a normal 20 pin style plug under the bonnet. If there is, use that, but I think it should work fine on a 330i anyway.

BMW Scanner does not handle all the BMW DDE. The list of DDE/DME it handles is highlighted within the program itself in the menu.
Use INPA for diagnostic where BMW Scanner fails. And another recommendation, always use INPA for complex problems, as BMW Scanner can be limited with some ECU.

Default Bmw scanner pa soft

Other forums state the wiring in the scanner might need altering by soldering the pins 4-5 and 7-8 by linking them.
Google the problem and check out E46 Fanatics.
