Default Replacment CCC has No Vin # just yyyyyyy

Hello , My CCC went bad (BMW Logo reboot over an over) So I bought a second hand CCC , But when I got it had No sound at all (nothing) Not even chimes. So I defaulted it with NCS expert. Then I checked INPA uif and found all CCC ecu listed no vin Numbers , All of them just read yyyyyyy. So do I have to change vin # to get sound? I rather not have to use winkfp because I only habe k-dcan an it takes hours and hours,, I have done it .
