Talking Retrofit Kombi E92 M3 on E87

HI All,

Im attending to a new retrofit which is the awesome cluster of the M3 on my E87.

at this moment the cluster is physically fitted, what i miss is the coding part.

at this moment is not working thr Tachometer and the oil temperature gauge.

any help will be appreciate.

what do you call tachometer ? the speedometer or rev counter ?
did you run enought kms/time to let oil warm up ?

rev counter.

i ve drive about 30 km where 2/3 was on motorway.

i ve read some people have done it but i miss the coding part.

I think rev counter should be working without any coding. I would test that cluster first on a E90 and check if rev counter it is working good.

the cluster is brand new.

i think is a coding issue.

Read .trc file from your kombi, load into ncs dummy and search for the temp guage. Check status activ or not.

In ncs dummy may be translation to englisch.
Other way is compare .trc with one from m3 car.
I don't think you can find anyone who can answer straight on your question.
