We can create a software section only for members

In the beginning you had to be a member with at least one post to see / download attachments. So I think this is in effect taken care of. Although a software section would be nice.

Oh direct links for the software would also be great! Too many links are to another (Russian) site that doesn't work well with google translate. :(

What software do you want in a software section? Should the relevant software be in the relevant section?

I'd say put the software (all of it) in the software section and then has links in the relevant sections to the appropriate location in the software sections. Therefore all software can be found in one sections and each relevant section has links to the appropriate thread / locations.

I agree,put it all in one section. That would make it much eaiser to find.
