Angry What's with the ever increasing posts requirement?

As the title says.... What's with the ever increasing posts requirement?

First it was one post to see attachments which was understandable. Now it's saying 15 posts! ??? WTF. Are we looking for spam in this forum? Because that's what we'll get so that everyone can get to 15 posts.

One word..... Disappointing!

I agree

I could'nt post usefull answers without experiences.
But to get some, I need most of the attachments.....

Registration required, OK!
One post required, OK!

But how should I get 15! posts without spamming ??

It would be great if you could set it back to one post.
Thx & bye
peter

I agree. I am not yet knowledgeable on the subjects yet.
I'd like to participate though.

BUT, this is the wrong way to encourage true content. All we are getting are a TON of "Hello", "Thanks" or other such posts. There is good content here but it's getting lost in all the SPAM that seems to be encourage by these ridiculous posting requirements.

Hi
Can I assume this policy is still in place?

I came here to source information in order to repair my vehicle myself, yet I'm restricted to posting *help* posts containing my symptoms/observations until I get enough posts to download the correct schematic/manual in order to work on a diagnostic plan..

Seems a little idiotic and I can see why other members were concerned about the increase in 'fluff' just to enable every new member access to attachments..
