Default David's Presentation

my name is David, from Paris, France, and I own a 10 years old X5 E70 3.0D for a bit more than a year now. It has 250000km, but still working great (a bit high on fuel consumption however).

I'm trying to make as much maintenance on my car as possible. I changed the glow plugs last summer (to make the DFP regenration work a bit better), and I just did this week-end my first oil change on this car, as well as the break fluid change.

Next projects are the change of the main water thermostat as well as the EGR thermostat.

Otherwise, I'm a software developer writing mostly free and open source software (mainly in Python), and my hobbies are electronics (on which subject I try to write on my blog on [Only for registered users... ]), mechanics (I repair old conventional tool machines, I have a lathe, a milling machine, several welding machines and several other machine tools).
