Default FYI BMW*ISTA*4.04.12 (native, no vmware)

Hello all, I had my 330ci in at the stealers yesterday to replace my airbag....
I had requested to having my car's software programed prior to loading any performance upgrade.

I was informed that there was problems upgrading "earlier models" E46 cars. Aprentently, there is "Too much information for our car's to accept" I was told by this dealership, the newest software is simply killing our on board computer...

I'm not so sure about this, but why would the dealer not want more $$$.
I'm just posting this as a FYI.
