Default Hello from California (Bay Area)

I am new to car-coding but did scripting and programming in the past. I had no idea that car got that complicated in the last 10 years :-)
I just bought my first X5 (2009) and love this car like a typical German does and want to improve my car by upgrading the CCC to the newer CIC with combox. In addition I bought a nightvision camera and my challenge for the next couple month will be to switch the CCC install the camera and code the car to make it work without "nuking" the X5.
