Default Hello from Istanbul

Hi guys,
I am a x1 owner, trying to retrofit cic idrive.
First, I was little bit away from this idea since I had to change my dashboard to fit the main unit. another problem was, bmw dealers here were not eager to code my car even if I buy all the parts from there.
I tried 2 chinese gps devices insted, which now I beleive that it was waste of money, time and patience.
now I have 2 chocies left, either building a carpc, or buy original parts and do the retrofit.
googling around, I saw a x1 owner do the retrofit without the dashboard replacement.

then I had to find out how to get the coding done, and found this forum.
Since I can modify my dashboard and fit the parts in, I will be reading this forum and ask for help coding my car myself.
long story short, hello all and please support the newbie. :)

Hi,
Did you do the cic x1 retrofit?
I'm about to do the same and was wondering how it went for you?
