Default New member saying hello

Hey everybody. New guy here, just want to say hi and warn you that I will drive all of you crazy with my ridiculous questions as I attempt to learn. Be patient with me and hopefully I will be able to contribute something eventually. From the reading I have already done, this looks to be the place I need to be to learn and get help understanding the software side of my M3.
With that said, let me tell you a little about my cars. I've had several BMW's and definitely don't mind wrenching on them. I would rather work on them than any American or Asian cars. I find that my brain understands the German engineering much better than the others.
Currently have '99 528i, '06 M3 and '07 C230 Sport. My M3 is definitely my favorite. The C230 is the wife's and the 528i is our old reliable that we've had for 10 years. All of them incredible automobiles. My M3 is very stock and I intend to keep it that way. The factory M3 performance is more than enough for me. Puts a smile on my face everyday.
I recently installed the inpa/ediabas/ncs expert/winkp software and have downloaded several manuals to get me started. That should keep me busy for quite some time.
Anyway, Hi from the USA (it seems most of the members here are from Europe). You guys have the most awesome roads and scenery. Would love to drive there someday. Mean while, I'll be lurking and learning. Thanks for a great forum.
