Default CAS Module Flash Failed

I was in the process of using ISTA/P to program and code
a CAS Control Unit (in car and various other control units).
The flash failed due to voltage issues.
Given it was the CAS unit, when I place the key in the ignition,
nothing happens. I am unable to get the ISTA/P via CARDAQ
to respond and attempt a reprogram.

Besides replacing the CAS module with a new one and
coding it, do I have any others options?

Can the CAS Module be bench flashed?

Has anyone done this?

What software should be used?

What power supply should I use?

Given the ISTA/P directory structure, what is the name
and/or file extension of the file to be flashed?

Any help is appreciated...

Dear Mike,

I think your CAS died.
We bought a brand new CAS for an E70 X5 beceause there where some small fault and errors popping up while driving.
And the car could shut down while driving.

Started programming, during programming an error occured and the car went black... Try putting the key back in and out, totaly nothing happens. Not even the slot grabs the key if u know what i mean. Car stays totaly black.

Put in old CAS again and everything worked again.
So i think its dead. Better buy a new one.
Hope it helps you.
